Mile High Functional Medicine (MHFM) integrates the science of traditional Allopathic medicine with Functional Medicine. Allopathic medicine, in general, only treats symptoms of illness and often does not address the underlying cause of illness or disease. If symptoms need to be addressed, Mile High Functional Medicine offers that expertise. Where MHFM differs is that we primarily seek to uncover root causes of illness. Functional Medicine is the modality that accomplishes that goal. We utilize thorough medical history assessment, active listening and laboratory testing to understand the root cause of disease. We then apply innovative, safe, effective and individualized treatment modalities to provide natural, holistic healing. We can take the best of traditional medicine to alleviate symptoms, but more importantly, put you on the path to healing with a Functional approach.
